Cody to Jasper, as they were falling asleep one night.
Jasper: I can't fall asleep!
Cody: (in a gently authoritative tone) Just close your eyes. And do inner peace.
Mommy, absent-mindedly scrolling Facebook after a long day and the kids are just in bed. After 15 minutes she shakes her head and says:
"I really need to just turn this off and go to bed."
