Nurnberg presents the Christmas Market in all its holiday glory. We took the high speed ICE train down on a Thursday and returned on Saturday afternoon to give ourselves a couple days to wallow in the scene.

Nurnberg, due to its importance as a Nazi center as well as its central location for rail linkages, was bombed gratuitously during the war. In the Castle tower we can do some before and afters:
