Picked up a Fiat 500 (the back of the truck is behind the kids' head) to drive north to the Baltic Sea. Historically, part of East Germany, but only 2.5-3 hrs away from Berlin it remains under-developed (by American coastal standards) and therefore a natural place to go to escape the heat and enjoy nature.
